

Voice Teaching
Georgie is passionate about helping people to connect with voice through the inner wisdom of the body. She has developed a unique teaching practice inspired by somatic approaches, movement exercises and improvisation games.
Georgie teaches voice on the Samāveśa School of Tantra, Somatics and Embodied Yoga 300hr Advanced Facilitator Training. She also leads in person singing retreats in Donegal, Ireland alongside singer and choir leader Alana Middleton.

Harp & Song Sound Bath
Georgie has been playing for yoga, movement and wellness classes for the past 10 years. She is passionate about the restorative qualities of music and she has developed Harp & Song Sound Baths to bring these benefits to yoga studios and workplaces around the UK.
Georgie Buchanan brings a unique and powerful approach to sound baths by weaving in live harp and song alongside singing bowls and chimes. Participants often describe this as a deeply moving and restorative experience, enhancing their ability to fully relax and reset.

Inspired by voyages to the Outer Hebrides, tales of ancient Celtic Goddesses and the mythic voices of the natural world, Georgie Buchanan is a unique singer and harpist on the contemporary music scene.

Her debut album 'Wise as a Fool' explores traditional folk music, ancient mythology and the ways that music helped her navigate the unchartered seas of mental illness. Music from the album has been played on BBC Radio Three and BBC 6 Music

As a performing artist, Georgie has performed alongside Show of Hands on the main stage of Sidmouth Folk Festival, supported critically acclaimed folk acts The Breath, Ye Vagabonds, Katherine Priddy and John Francis Flynn and performed sell out shows around the UK. As a composer, Georgie has been selected for Sound and Music’s highly competitive New Voices Programme and the English Folk Expo’s Artist Mentoring Programme.
As a member of Ancient Infinity Orchestra Georgie has performed at North Sea Jazz Festival and the main stage of We Out Here Festival. Georgie also performs and composes with Afro-Flamenco quintet Muertito.
